Really thinking of blocking this community because I can't have a Star Trek replicator make me all these tantalizing things.

Join those who tried making them :) It’s surprisingly easy to get consistent good results.

Yeah, I was just joking around. Sorry.

As the other commenter say it's pretty easy to make good wings at home even in an oven if you don't have a barbecue.

I wasn't serious. It was just a wiseass way of complimenting your post. I try to turn a lot of things into jokes nowadays in a bid to retain what sanity is left. Sorry.

SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world · 3 pts · 20d (5 replies)

As long as you're truly sorry I can overlook it this time.

WhoIzDisIz@lemmy.today · 3 pts · 20d (4 replies)

Well... Does sorry-looking count?

SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world · 3 pts · 20d (3 replies)

I'm starting to question your sincerity.

WhoIzDisIz@lemmy.today · 2 pts · 20d (2 replies)

You thought I was sincere? I mean I told you I try to make jokes out of everything. Might wanna have that cognitive dissonance checked out.

Hey if you want to be the type of person that’s always making jokes and being sarcastic on the internet by all means you be you.

I tried the Alton Brown technique to air brine 24 hours in the frig to dry them out. Super crispy regardless of air frying or on a grill.

Haven't tried it in a oven... yet.

Looks great I’ll give this a try next time!

Its was kinda weird opening my fridge to a 1/2 sheet pan of raw exposed chicken fyi. But for the results its totally worth it! Next go I'm going to try 2 days like he mentioned.

SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world · 2 pts · 19d (6 replies)

I dry out whole chickens for a day or two all the time in my fridge.

TIEPilot@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 19d (5 replies)

Awesome! Alton has a video on spatchcocking and drying a whole bird too using a box fan! I have to try this next!

Oh I bet using on of those stand up chicken roasters (remember the beer can chicken BS?) would work great for best air circulation of a whole bird.

Also I never bought the beer can chicken hype, but I did see value in roasting a chicken vertically using the frame :)

Its comes up as "Not Found"? Weird.

But I saw the URL has to do w/ a rotisserie chicken, one of my favorites. Always wanted one of these:

https://youtu.be/tLq27iOW0R0

Also wanted to do a documentary of the cult of Ron Poleil. I was going to expose the "Poleiliacs" and the cult of "Set it and Forget it". As you are Satans Maggoty Cum Fart you can see how this was a real.

Rumors of slow chanting around an alter of delicious rotisserie chicken w/ the low slow methodical chanting of "Set it and forget it"

Sends a shiver down my spine, they are still out there.

It’s a rotisserie chicken I made a couple weeks back in this sub too.

Strange it doesn’t show up.
