Well yeah but that’s the thing; knowing what you should be doing riiiiiigh before the concrete dries on you last mistake xD
And getting « the hand » for everything. Like applying plaster; from my first wall to my last it tell quite the story. And that’s if there’s no shit luck like « ho what’s this sus beam embedded in the wall doing and how do si deal with it no that I have a very large opening to do for this news door frame ».
No really fuck all that anxiety. Even with the all
Internet cheering ;-)
That sounds like a nice situation. Broad market, customers by the bucket. That’s quite nice! I admire your line of work. I could never to it following my personal attempts to renovate my own home. You must have acquired a whole lotta skills to get where you are .
I’m quite aware of the theory and how regulations apply.
From what I see there is no functional difference between Amazon and AliExpress though. Both seem to largely skim QC. It’s also generally self-certified so the whole point is relatively irrelevant.
No one will sue AliExpress or Amazon from a small consumer perspective.
But politics for sure love to toy with China more than USA.
From where I sit it all seems very much posturing.
Fully aligned with the idea but the guy just got taxed 350€ given it’s a female and something. Not cheap to fix cats. And that’s not accounting for the whole « catch them » game; in our area we can get a rental humane trap from the city but they only pick them up once a month or you can drive your price 60km away on your free time.
Another tax.. it’s all fucked up just to try to help :(
They are reliably the exact same products between Amazon and AliExpress… and I have doubts that those flowing through Amazon are under more scrutiny at this stage. There’s typically only a markup and that’s it. Same support mailbox and all even.
GDPR is a bit more than cookies banners… it gives rights to European like deletion of one’s data, right to get a copy of one’s data, portability to some extent and a lot of transparency about what processing is happening.
And if one of our DPA is taking an interest in a particular sus processing they can forbid it altogether which all companies fear much more than fines.
It’s really a beautiful piece of regulation. And I’m not saying only because I make part of my living out of it :)
This is a bellyboat more precisely. Unlike in a boat my legs are in the water and I’m sporting fins like divers to direct myself.
It’s more nimble than bassboats and fishing kayaks but it has more drag and smaller motorisation so I’m a fair bit more limited when debits are high. And it’s mono place.
It’s immensely more affordable though.
Over the years I thrifted 2 of those so I can bring friends or even curious fishermen that want to try this mode of fishing :)

Yeah true that. Well possibly at least. They do own their skills at least. The rest is possibly rentals :-/
Aren’t you slave to your customers instead of your boss though ? Can you really afford to just close the door and go sunny side of your want to?
Yeah I was going to say… as a millennial it was a bumpy road so far… but I acknowledge that next gens will have it even harder :(

A tad above middle typically… it’s generally already within executive / leadership realm that the title exists.
Ah yeah good catch.

Those things are not driven by the same groups of interests. We are not as monolithic as USA.
In the browser you ask? 194 + 9 incognito.
Join those who tried making them :) It’s surprisingly easy to get consistent good results.
True I was technically in Limburg IIRC. But I’ve grew hearing the country being called equally « Pays-Bas » and « Hollande » so it stuck :-/
Still my comment about its magnificence stands.
Thanks :)

Super helpful comment here thanks. I tried once and failed seemingly due to my impatience. I’ll try again with this in mind.
