New Age Cartel — Public Beta Testing Soon

Hey everyone,

A few weeks ago, I shared an update on New Age Cartel, the PBBG / text-MMO I’ve been solo-developing over the past couple of months.

Since then, development has continued to move forward, and I’m happy to say that Public Beta testing is getting very close.

I’ll be opening testing before the end of this week, and I’m looking for players who are willing to actively play through the game, test its systems, find bugs, and provide honest feedback before the full launch.

What the Beta Will Test

• Balance & Economy: Testing progression pacing, combat formulas, resource distribution, and the player-driven market.
• Combat & Progression: Testing PvP, rivalries, missions, operations, and the training system.
• Multiplayer Systems: Testing syndicate mechanics, territory systems, group features, and other multiplayer elements.
• UI & Quality of Life: Finding issues with navigation, responsiveness, player flow, and general usability.
• Bugs & Edge Cases: Identifying anything that breaks, behaves unexpectedly, or needs further polish.
• Different Devices: Testing across phones, PCs, browsers, and different screen sizes is especially welcome.

How Testing Will Work

Testers will receive pre-made game accounts with resources provided, allowing you to explore and test different systems without having to grind from the beginning.

The goal isn't simply to find bugs. I want to see how the game actually feels to play, where progression feels too fast or too slow, whether the economy makes sense, how combat performs, and which systems need more work.

AI has been used extensively throughout the game's development, including much of the initial game design and systems planning, while the project itself has been developed as a solo project. This beta is an important opportunity to see how those systems hold up with real players.
