They do seem to be hastening the collapse of neoliberal orthodoxy. Which is a good thing. Though we might be falling into a new form of monarchy where billionaire families sit above all else.

They’ll claim it was to defend the free world, a load of countries free-loading off the protection of the carrier groups. Of course it was always “protection” in the same sense as Mafia protection.
