A bit pricey, and I thought I was done buying e-readers since my older devices still work great. But after using the Xteink 4 every day, I'm blown away by the display. My old devices are still usable, but they don't have the same crispness and contrast as these new screens have.

This is good to know! I have a Boox Palma 2 and it’s ok but is buggier than I want an e-reader to be.

How do you find the form factor? I've never really enjoyed reading on a smartphone because the lines are too short and figure I'd hit the same issue with the xteink devices.

I thought it would be an issue with me, but since I hold with one hand and my fingers rest right over the 'next page' button, it's actually more comfortable for me than larger readers.

A post of yours a week or so back got me to take my xte4 out and flash it with crosspoint and since then it has been my most used daytime reading device. Needing a ksync server then got me to switch to koreader on my other devices which is way better on eink than moon reader, which I had used exclusively for years.

I'm so happy that I inspired that! A lot of times when I post, I feel I'm just posting out into the void, but very happy to know that I may have posted something that helped at least one person to read a little more! So awesome!
I can't take much credit, as I'm mostly just sharing other people's great thoughts, helpful tips, and OS building projects. Regardless, I'm just glad you're enjoying your reading!

Your frequent posting has actually made me start saving for an e-reader, because now I finally feel like I have a good resource to decide what I want when I'm ready to purchase. Thank you
