1st world needs doors. 3rd world gets bags, baskets, or just their legs.
Anybody who has been to SE Asia knows that two-wheeled vehicles already have plenty of cargo space.
Here's a woman with a dog
Here's a woman with a goat
Here's a couple with all kinds of stuff, probably on their way home from work and did some shopping.
Here's a family of four, with one kid taking a nap
I could go on.

I've wanted an electric motorcycle for a while but with my big dog something like a dualsport atv, kei truck combo would be so good

Kei trucks and vans are awesome. I keep waiting for somebody to start importing them from Vietnam, since VN is left-side-drive like USA. Every Kei truck or van I've seen for sale in USA has been right-side-drive.

There is a start up in the states working to build KEI trucks domestically. I have not read this article, but I did watch their video (which was a nothing burger). Hopefully something comes of this. https://hackaday.com/2026/07/06/a-new-challenger-approaches-the-open-source-vehicle/

$15,000 for that seems kinda nuts when you can get a Kei truck or van used for like $2000 even now and a Slate will soon be out for $25k

One of my friends has one, I've been seriously considering one myself but there's like, no modern safety features.

I ride bikes festooned in bags in the first world, but I'm an outlier and sometimes I do still drive a car.
