I know its been done a thousand times, but its one I've always wanted to do.
I started playing a decade-ish(?) ago in university when the game first launched. I graduated and got a job, so I haven't played in ages.
I'm setting up an owncast instance to stream my shenagins.
Im wondering if there's any tips for the trip, or anyone want to watch?

Fully engineered Caspian Explorer, perhaps with scoop-rate enhanced fuel scoop. Definitely use the Neutron Highway. Perhaps do a bit of exploring along the way for viewer interest with a Nomad down to surfaces now and again. 07 cmdr!

If you're in the bubble, wait for a bit because we will have a CG next week.
You can also catch a carrier to colonia for a headstart if you want.
I'd recommend stopping in eagle nebula because it's been built up a ton and it's very picturesque. Also to see how far along the colonia bridge is.
Do all your engineering in the bubble, and have materials for jumponium just in case.
A Caspian is the way to go, it makes travel very quick. Spansh will give you the most efficient route.
For recommendations, I watch galnet digest, buur pit, commander exorcist, xpeigh, midnite black, and cmdr Precambrian mollusc for updates on colonisation

Where can I find more info about the CG? My crew is in Colonia but we will move the FC is it's worth it.

It hasn't been announced yet, but there's a very high chance there will be a CG considering new month and new vehicle.
The news will come out on Thursday/Friday for the CG if there is one.
Which is your carrier? I'm in colonia too, it's great here

The carrier is named Crucible. I'm not sure about its current location but it's not to far from Colonia.
