Fully engineered Caspian Explorer, perhaps with scoop-rate enhanced fuel scoop. Definitely use the Neutron Highway. Perhaps do a bit of exploring along the way for viewer interest with a Nomad down to surfaces now and again. 07 cmdr!

I don't know you, I'm just an Internet Stranger, but I read all that you wrote. You've had it tough, but the way your message reads it seems all you've endured has made you strong. I had a tough time years ago with my own trials and I didn't think it was worth carrying on. At my lowest point, someone reached out to me. They didn't know how low I was, and I didn't tell them, but it stopped me and gave me time to think in a different frame of mind. Things got much better for me after that. Things can be better for you. Use that strength you have. Own who you are. Write more-- you do it beautifully and frankly much better than a lot of posts I read. You have a gift for it. Btw: I never post on here, but I had to for you. You reached someone today.

The data for the pages was contained in the "flyback"; each dot of each frame of your normal TV programme image started at the top left of the screen, moved to the right and then flew back to the left, one line down until you had a screen's-worth. The flyback was fast so as to get a full screen image in whatever the frame rate was (30Hz?) Originally the flyback was just wasted bandwidth: a necessary loss whilst your TV moved it's electron beam back to the left hand side. But because the flyback was fast, you'd never be able to get a full 'proper' image in there; that's why teletext was text and primitive block graphics. And why you'd have to wait several minutes to see the page you wanted on a trend page cycle!

Are you still getting killed after the latest update? The patch notes claim to have fixed the over-exuberant (aka unprovoked, murdering) security forces attacking you on sight. I believe this has caused AFK T10 deaths previously.

If you vote with the other hand, is it like someone else is doing it?

Oh no! I guess no good deed goes unpunished after all.

I'd better start by saying this is not my server and it sounds like you've found yourself in corners I've never visited or imagined there would be. I simply stumbled upon it and thought I'd share some Nice Stuff.

The concept of players taking their time to offer something genuinely useful to other players, at considerable in-game cost to themselves and irl very laborious seemed genuinely altruistic: a rarity these days.

I'm not going to go hunting until I find the Bad Stuff you refer to; it's the Nice Stuff that needs a helping hand!

I'll follow-up by apologising for not being specific enough and try to fix that:

___

Look for LEGAL (orange ones; not the purple) Raid and Exterminate Scavengers missions on concourse mission boards. Happy to discuss my recipes for fewer rebuys and failed missionsb if you want!

I did a bit of everything at first. And sucked at them all. Fortunately not a very expensive rebuy. Found a G3 Maverick suit, and things started to become... possible. I heard there's a "sharing is caring" site, where cmdrs who find a G3/engineered suit or gun that they don't need. Now-- I'm very fond of slaughtering settlements full of pirates and looting everything. I'm Space Nice but Settlement Naughty. Took me years to find this out.

My brother is just about to rejoin the game after a year out, so I'm frantically trying to get my suits and guns upgraded and engineered enough to help him in Odyssey. I'll also be doing a bit of Maelstrom spelunking soon to scrape at that Titan!
