A piece of glitch art I made starting from a photo of a miniature I 3D printed and partially painted. I primarily did the modification in Blender's Compositor and Audacity.

Audacity??? It looks awesome, but what did you use audacity for?

Basically Audacity was used for corrupting the image data in specific ways by importing the image as a raw data file and applying audio effects to it.
It's an odd technique but can yield some cool effects that I've been unable to recreate in other programs in a way that looks right IMO.

I first learned the process years ago on (of all places) a Minecraft forum and I've been faffing about with it off and on since.
The audacity part that is.
The Blender part of the process has been something I've been faffing about with out of a purely experimentation point of view and seeing if I could do things with it. And turns out you can use the compositor for photo editing. It's just strange. So right on theme lol

Definitely strange, yeah. But it's really awesome to see the awesome stuff that can be done with our open tools (even if you are technically misusing them).
Blender especially, I use that programme and didn't even know it has a compositor! The amount of features and capabilities in blender is insane. (Audacity too probably but I don't know it as well)

That's awesome, I use Audacity to corrupt pictures. I should post some of mine to this com

Heck yeah! I've very rarely seen people do it and I'd love to see more people's art!
