They're already poor. That's why they're being preyed upon by data centers

Temporarily embarrassed datacenters😂

Get the trade unions on it!!

Why would he care? He's profited and scammed to the tunes of billions of dollars in profits off the presidency.
His power bill going up isn't a problem.
Is just a problem for everyone else who isn't a piece of shit.

“Mr. President: Think about farm land and about water resources, and a man as intelligent as you will see that the absolute position you are taking is flawed,” one user wrote. “What use is being rich if you cannot get access to water and food?”
Imagine saying “a man as intelligent as you” when talking about trump. Lol

If you listen really really closely, you'll get to hear what cognitive dissonance cracking sounds like.
They'll probably just patch the crack with ivermectin paste or something, but they're so close to realizing the grift, it's actually infuriating.

They'll just watch fox news and see what they are supposed to think.

Ummm...except that all those "federal deregulatory efforts" mean they don't have to do any of that in order to build them. So they won't, of course. Why would they, when you've already given them the free-reign to do whatever they want?
How do these clowns have any supporters left, at this point?
FistingEnthusiast@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 5d
Their supporters are stupid and hateful, but the Republicans keep telling them that they are special, and better than the people they hate

What data centers are net energy negative? Maybe if they designed the building inefficiently large and then placed solar panels on the roof... Maybe. But I haven't seen any articles or papers or evidence of such a data center. Maybe some have on premise energy generators like natural gas but they are inherently less efficient than the state/federal/municipality ran ones which operate on a larger scale and enjoy the benefits of doing such.
nickhammes@lemmy.world · 0 pts · 5d
Maybe a combination data center and nuclear power plant? But that's totally speculative and probably has never even been seriously sketched out.

That's amazing. This guy is so out of touch he doesn't even understand how much he's sabotaging himself for the mid-terms.
DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social · 4 pts · 5d
Plus he's so bad at capitalism he thinks data centers give back to the local economy.
BillyTheKid2@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 5d
I don't believe he thinks anything. I'm not joking. He's said before he doesn't have an internal monolog. I think this guy is legit a psychological zombie.
It walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, but sibling; It's not a duck.

There won't be midterms.

For the 61th time?
Will it remove BlackRock & Vanguard?
boonhet@lemmy.zip · 3 pts · 5d
How exactly are mutual funds the problem here? Red states banned local/state government funds from investing via BlackRock because it was considered too woke since they have a vested interest in the country lasting more than one quarter.
alapakala@quokk.au · 1 pts · 5d
Interesting way to call the owners of the US. The problem is capitalism, and their booth won't end the robber baron’s might. 60 terms of slavery. And another, because you are a temporarily embarrassed “mutual fund.”
NaibofTabr@infosec.pub · 2 pts · 5d
Yes. Every time. Your voice should be heard.
If you choose, voluntarily, to exclude yourself from the democratic process, then of course it doesn't work for you. It can't. How can it work for you, if you do not participate?
The people who want you to not vote are the same people who want to take away the right to vote entirely.
alapakala@quokk.au · -1 pts · 5d
My voice is heard everytime I feed the homeless. Not when the Epstein class makes another voting booth. The fact you still believe there even is democracy on an oligarchy shows :amerikkka: indoctrination is working perfectly.
Because it never has, it never will. Ballots are how you genocided the indigenous. Ballots is how you enslaved. I grow tired of countering your disinformation that you ever had a democracy, when it only suits slavers.
If this was true, the people that create ballots wouldn't campaign to demand people to go to voting booths. Instead voting would take decades to get everyone to vote. Yet you still ignore the people that can't make it to your booths.
Let us know when the incarcerated can vote, the indigenous, the enslaved, the children, and the migrants.
If you don't see the hypocrisy of ableing a class of tailored individuals only the right to vote, you have no say on what democracy is.
Septimaeus@infosec.pub · 1 pts · 5d
Why is it so important to you that others don’t vote? Your comment history is exhausting dude. Why are you so fixated on this?
alapakala@quokk.au · 1 pts · 5d
Why is it so important to maintain electoralism?
I am a black anarchist.
How many more Red Scares do I have to face in order to be free?
Why can't you face the reality that ballots never translate material conditions improving for us?

I wish Trump had a list of his biggest donors taped to his forhead.
And a picture of the inauguration dinner on his suit.
Then the reasoning behind this would be obvious to his supporters...
