Let’s put aside how revolting this is (I know that’s hard, but try). How uncomfortable must that thing be, especially if you’re sitting in it for so long that you’re skipping bathroom breaks? It’s just a folding chair.

I think the water can be at a higher level as long as the seal where the pipe joins the bucket is good.
