B.C. Premier David Eby said Hegseth's post and the Pentagon's defence of it were an embarrassment.
"It tells you everything you need to know about the amateur-hour, distracted, bizarre leadership that Americans are being subjected to," Eby said.

I think doing nonsense might be the point. We can sit here and laugh at how foolish they look not bothering to look up what a cadet is but I think they don't care and they don't have to care and they are flexing on that.
