Shunpei lives in a rural town of barely 3,000 people. Every day, he rides the same bus as his classmate An Takayagawa, the only one who went off to a private middle school. The two haven't really talked since elementary school... until one day, something gives them a reason to.
It's a quick read if you want to binge this from the start, and it's absolutely worth it.

I am partway through this series now and it is really good. Will definitely finish blasting through it in the next couple days. It is like a country version of "They are Still Being Shaken This Morning", which is about two students who ride the train together to and from school. However, I do like how this series is a lot calmer overall, maybe partly due to the country setting perhaps...just less people/things going on around them.
