It's really absurd that corporations keep pretending that infinitely replicable digital products should work the same as physical objects.

Nope, not like physical objects, remember that there are many copies of the same book and newspaper.
This is more restrictive than physical media

i have no idea how they can make this argument in a world with other digital vendors. like if sony was the only game in town this would make A LITTLE sense, but can’t the prosecution just point at GOG here?
