The risks are abundant, including the risk that the White House could use the secret process to coerce [computer] companies over decisions like whether to deploy [computers] for lethal autonomous weapons and mass surveillance (as we saw with the clash between the Pentagon and Anthropic), to extort certain investors and employees for political and financial support or punish others for perceived political opposition, or to force [computer] companies to incorporate politicized viewpoints into their models—not to mention the risk that the review framework is simply ineffective, creating a false sense of security.

I hate when articles say Trump is "forced" to do anything. No one's forcing him to do jack shit and he won't do it, so it's just irritating as fuck. We've seen it literally hundreds of times now

Why did you replace "AI" with "computer"? Those are not synonymous and the substitution is both unwarranted and inaccurate; this article isnt about general computing companies
