I didn't actually marry her but I got very very close. Trust me you will not be happy in the long run if you settle, and if the narrative in your head is that you settled. Maybe if you meet a good woman with a good heart, but you aren't all that excited about her, you would just be happier alone. Deciding that you're settling for someone is something you're doing to that person, and not just a determination that you're making for yourself. The person will be able to feel it, or even if they can't, you will feel it and it won't be a good thing for your relationship. "Settling" is never a good idea, especially when that's how you're framing it in your own mind.
