TL;DR this is a huge overhaul of the popular open-source audio editing app. The UI specifically has been the biggest overhaul, making it a lot more modern and friendly to use.
Hopefully, one day, GIMP will get some kind of update like this.

Been following Tantacrul for ages and was glad to see when he got in on the project. He’s done so much to make it an amazing software. Can’t wait to see what they’re able to pull off with the new engine.

I was sad to find out like two weeks ago that he actually left Muse back in March. (After having left this release in a good place.)
