That's how you know police is corrupt

Ironically the police* in Italy isn't usually corrupt, as far as I know, although politicians sure make up for it

(* police duties are regularly fulfilled by a branch of the military, but unlike the militarized police force of the US, they aren't known for shooting dogs on sight (or acorns) (or donkeys))

Crikey, it's the italic rozzers!

Police! On your knees, hands over your head at a 10° angle!

We've got you surrounded, surrender and we won't have to put pineapple on pizza

... I just doxxed myself into beginning and ending all my comments with '*' characters without using backslashes, didn't I?

Not me thinking this was an encoding error in my fediverse client until I looked at the community name

ngl, every time I see a weirdly formatted comment I click the "view source" icon (or whatever it is in the Lemmy client I'm using at the moment) to see if I'm missing something.

Case in point:

^take a screenshot of this comment on Jerboa^, 90/100 this last paragraph doesn't render properly

I just checked, I'll look like a dumbass but I swear the last time I checked that App didn't render superscript properly, apparently now it does

There's no superscript here in Voyager. Just a couple stray cat's ears.
