Finished Splatoon Raiders!
Well, finished the post-game dungeons! Though it unlocked a final dungeon after that, called Bottomless Buffet. With a name like this I had to look it up, and it is kind of bottomless, with 1000 levels total. I tried the first set (Levels 1-3) a few times, it is a bit above my level and I wasn't able to successfully able to complete level 2, so will have to finish some other dungeons and level up first. I'll probably be playing them here and there, but for me the game has officially finished.
With that over, spent most of my time playing Hogwarts Legacy. Doing the main missions, as well as the story side mission. The game has too many collectibles. I was thinking about going for Platinum, but I think it'll become the chore. Currently I do those side activities if they show up in way, but don't too many of them in a single session.
I should be somewhere near the halfway point. So maybe 10-20 hours more.
Also got back to Final Fantasy XII - The Zodiac Age. Continuing with the story. Not much new here
No Fire Emblem Three Houses this week, but plan to get back to it over the weekend.

Playing Super Robot Wars Y Anniversary Expansion Pack!
According to the Akurasu wiki I'm ~60% done.
Story-wise the DLC is an alternate final chapter for the game where a new enemy shows up and completely changes the power balance between the different groups, with both heroes and villains scrambling to adjust their plans. The game is really hyping this new group of antagonists, there was a chapter with the main game final boss absolutely terrified of them - so I'm curious if the eventual battle against them will live up to this hype.
It also feels like a "here's all the stuff people kept asking for us to add" batch, with Witch From Mercury S2 content, more participation of DLC characters in the storyline, and even a bunch of new combination attacks mixing mechs from different franchies.
Playing Etrian Odyssey 3 HD!
This is one of my all-time favorite Dungeon Crawlers and I've beaten it way back in the the DS, but I have an ongoing save in the remastered version that I boot from time to time to continue.
I've reached the 3rd Stratum and spent some time figuring out which subclasses to use. I'm trying some different builds and classes so let's see if it'll work out.
Finally, I've started testing demos for some upcoming JRPGs.
I'm loving the first hour of Final Fantasy Resonance (Switch 1, Switch 2) and have Another Eden Begins queued up next (Switch 1, Switch 2).

I have never played Etrian Odyssey, the collection is on my wishlist though, have heard a lot about them.

EO is the GOAT among DRPGs. Though I'd recommend picking up only EO3 instead of the whole bundle if you're new to the genre, the first two games are good but considerably more dated, so I'd only recommend them for more hardcore fans.
Map drawing in the HD versions is awkward compared to the touchscreen in the DS (though I hear it works well in handheld mode if you get a stylus), but it still has some of the best dungeons, party building and customization in the genre. And insane Yuzo Koshiro OSTs.
Really wish we get a 4/5/Nexus pack sometime in the future, EO3 is amazing but I think EO5 is still the best one.

I am a casual fan, as in I like the genre, but I haven't played many games and have yet to actually finish one.
As for starting from 3rd EO game, I'll probably find it difficult to do. Have this weird need to start from the earliest game, at least when it's playable on current systems. I'll keep it in mind though, and if I feel like dropping the first one, will give 3rd one a chance.
Hope we get rest of the games in the series too, as well as a new one.
And while we are on the topic, I got Vaporum on last sale, it has been on my wishlist for quite a while, have you played that? I recall someone mentioned it here, but I forgot to save/star the comment.

Double posting, but since you asked about it: I finished both demos, both fairly long at ~4h each.
FF Resonance: Extremely impressed with the demo. They're doing some really cool stuff with the HD-2D engine, the opening scenes are a good example. I can't find good words to describe it, but the mix of more realistic images with pixel art looks very unique. Gameplay is great, with a lot of customization options, and quite balanced in a way that is challenging without being too overwhelming. It's a Day 1 purchase for me now.
Another Eden: Writing and gameplay is very basic, it's ridiculously easy, and I wasn't into the toy-like (mobile-like?) visuals for the characters at first... but the game grew up on me as I played, and I'm very curious where the plot will go. Will probably get it if I can find a good price (MSRP being $40 helps).

Not very far 💀 maybe like 30%
I've finished the main quest twice before, gotten all the shrines and the big stuff. But now with Zelda Notes it's going to be much easier to track all those dang koroks.
The app has helped gamify the game, if that makes sense.

Ah, makes sense. I haven't used Zelda Notes but I have used similar things for 100% completing other games in the past. Specially when I used to care about trophy hunting on PlayStation.

I started Tales of Graces f this week. I'm having enough fun with it, but I'm not really vibing with any of the characters gameplay-wise. It feels a bit button mashy, I'm hoping unlocking more titles will make things more interesting, but I'm not sure I like that mechanic.

That was my first Tales game, I recall really enjoying it, and while I remember some of how things looked don't remember much of the mechanics. It's possible it hasn't aged that well.

Yea I'm playing the remaster. It's not that it feels dated (I also don't really have much of a reference for the series/genre), it's just that titles feel a bit too grindy only to end up unlocking (mostly) stat boosts.
I'm around 10 hours in (in chapter 3, according to the achievements) and most combat encounters feel a bit samey (playing on moderate). It feels like I'm missing something. It is more fun than Arise tho.

Hogwarts Legacy just feels bland to me. The story and the characters are not interesting. My favourite open world games are still Fallout 3 and Skyrim.
I just finished The Invincible. It is good but not as good as Firewatch or What Remains with Edith Finch. Yeah I like walking sims.

It's not the greatest game, but if you ever liked Harry Potter or if have any nostalgia for books or movies, it's a really fun world. Without that, it's an okay game, still not bad though. But everyone has their own taste, so nothing wrong with not liking it.

In Fallout 3, I've retconned my previous return home to actually explore the corner the story just dumped me in. Until me and Fawkes make it back to a place I know, I cannot fast travel! I may have accidentally rained some nukes down on the world at one point, but you have no proof!
I'm playing the Sabo DLC in One Piece: World Seeker. Not a fan of him to be honest, he plays like Luffy's faster combat style, which I never used. I should have finished it by now, but I was interrupted by my controller constantly disconnecting. I was about to replace the cable when I realized it's just a simple USB connection, so I can just use my Switch Pro Controller's cable to connect my XBox Controller to the PC. It's weird because I only use that cable about once a month to charge my Pro Controller, so it's very stiff!
After being kinda overwehelmed by Cephadrome, I went after Velocidrome and Bulldrome last weekend in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. They were complete pushovers, so I definitely should have done these first! I was very curious about Bulldrome in particular. It's basically just a boar, so what can it do other than charge at you? And at least in Low Rank the answer is... absolutely nothing. My next target for this weekend is Arzuros, the first monster I already know from another game.

They are in other games, I just haven't played those. I don't expect them to come back often either, because you can really tell they're from the very early games. Velocidrome jumps at you and Bulldrome runs at you and that's basically it. Next to them, early game monsters like Arzuros (first appearing in 3 Portable) feel way more complex than they are.
