How can publicly-traded companies have true democratic corporate governance?

In theory, a “publicly” traded entity can serve the common good. In reality, it more often than not is false. What are your thoughts on making it reality?

Many publicly traded companies are democraticic, you buy the right to vote when you buy a share of the company.

Electoral ≠ Democratic. In current system, the person with the most shares has the most power.
