Lastly, I have an idea for a crossover, but I have no idea what Star Trek scene would work. In Mean Girls, there is the scene in which Ms. Nordbury says "Raise your hand if you have ever been personally victimized by Regina George" to a crowd of people and most of them raise their hands. If you can think of any Star Trek scene in which a crowd of people all raise their hands, that could be a good source to use to make that joke. And depending on the source (Deep Space Nine, Next Generation, etc.), you could replace "Regina George" with whatever villain was relevant in that Star Trek plot arc.

"Raise your hand if you've ever been victimised by Kathryn Janeway"

Entire Delta quadrant and Tuvix raise their hands.

Last panel is that meme of Janeway saying "lock phasers and fire".

Tuvix cannot raise his hands, for the reason that he is dead!

Entire Delta quadrant and Tuvix raise their hands.

Can you actually think of a scene when that happens, or are you just making a joke?

Not just the Delta quadrant - throughout life and space and time too!

That girl gets around.

Obviously, Janeway and other like-minded folk approves...

Avery Brooks would have played one fine Klingon. And Sisko would have been one fine Klingon.

What about that scene from Discovery where the Federation votes on what to do about the Anomaly that destroyed Brook's Booker's planet?

I am drawing a blank. Can you provide more context to help me track down which episode that was exactly?

rockSlayer@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 2 pts · 2d (5 replies)

I found the episode, s4e7 "... But to Connect"

SatyrSack@quokk.au · 1 pts · 2d (4 replies)

That looks like I could make it work! But what villain would it mention instead of Regina George? If I remember correctly, this arc in Discovery didn't really have an individual acting as an antagonist like Dukat, Winn, Jellico, etc. I just remember the threats being more abstract, like Species 10-C or the Dark Matter Anomaly.

Hmm, I think in this case it should be straight mean girls quote for this one. Edit out the votes against

SatyrSack@quokk.au · 3 pts · 2d (2 replies)

Works for me. Not sure which version here I like better: the one showing literally everyone raising their hand, or the one showing more different individuals voting but one of them is not raising their hand

They're both magnificent

Tweaked the format a bit. Now it has roughly the same greater number of individuals raising their hands, the panels are cropped in such a way that we only see individuals who are raising their hands, and the final image is in a 3:4 aspect ratio like I prefer.
