I've been a fan of Antibalas since I downloaded an mp3 of Talkatif from ninjatune.com some time in the early 2000s. Talkatif is still my favourite song of theirs. It's a jam and also hilarious. There are so many artists on the ninjatune label that I listen to, it's crazy.
I saw them performing with Zap Mama about a decade ago in San Francisco. What an amazing band.
