e: also thank you to @sourgumgum@lemmy.world for downvoting my "thank you" comment despite the fact that I gave no indication one way or the other what my opinion on the bsky shart was!
It's even worse today than it was 20-30 years ago. Some of the stuff shown in this video would get sued into oblivion if they tried to release it today.

That car often scrapes the shallowest of humps because of its low ground clearance.

They didn't provide an API, so I simply scraped their website.
Yes, and I agreed with every word of your previous comment with the exception of
It will ... be smarter than you
which I think is an extremely prevalent misconception about the state of AI that's worth debunking every time it is mentioned, and this misconception is due to the exact same causes as the point of this post: The CEOs are misrepresenting what this technology will scale to, in order to extract the maximum investment from unsophisticated investors. In doing so they're causing enormous turmoil in the labour markets that is affecting the lives of every white-collar worker.
Their narratives are harmful and they need to be called out.
The future of AI will be local. It will run on your phone and be smarter than you, and in fairly short order.
LLMs and the surrounding code that drives them ("harnesses") are so far from AGI that it will be decades before we see your prediction come true. We need not just one, but many more leaps forward in AI progress to achieve a level of AI that is capable of performing human-level reasoning and planning that will be "smarter than you" or me. If you have studied AI in the pre-LLM times you will have an understanding of the problems that need to be solved for general reasoning intelligence. We haven't solved any of those problems.
LLMs are a large step forward in the field of NLP, but that's it.
I don't know anything about this creator, what is it that makes you dislike them? It seemed like a fairly ordinary video to me, but this post is on -4 votes at the time I'm commenting so I must be missing something.
Why even mention the nazi distro at all?
Who is the one refusing to use the transporter?
What if I think about my neighbour obtaining an unverified phone? Will they arrest him?
thank you!

The answer to your question is about 8m30s into the video. I've added my own description to the post which also answers your question.
Over here we use the other date format, so it's actually 9/9
Nice write-up. This is the first time I've encountered
DynamicUser=in systemd, so I learnt something new.https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/scrap

Can someone summarise this? I don't visit corposhit media sites.
Is that when its eyes go red?
How did I know to look for this on the itch.io page just from reading your post, I wonder.

You're not interested in experiencing the creative choices of the Art Director and all of the other artists involved in making the game?
What's going on with the Fediverse that makes you put it in a list with these companies?
Is this concern trolling?
"Joined 8 hours ago" seems like a strange move for someone who is "pulling away from the fediverse."
This is 3 seconds longer than my attention span. What happens?
