Watched Fly Away Home for the first time in decades... still holds up

I’m recovering from surgery and wanted a comfort movie. Such a cute story and well-made film.

My dad loved this movie and watched it constantly during his mental decline. It was a great comfort to him, always made him cry.

I remember waiting for this one to come out on VHS at our local rental shop. Definitetly a good one. It was hyped a lot on TV and as a kid I thought the idea was cool.
