Red flags everywhere

While “national emergency” makes a good headline, it is hard from this to gauge what it actually means. It could be largely rhetoric; or it could be anything up to martial law.

You know exactly what it means: no more rule of law. 'The party' decides all.

You are not supposed to admit to trying to set yourself up as a dictator until after you win power.

And UK will vote them in anyway, they seem like a nice group of people. 🤦

Why does that seem so familiar...

As prime minister, he will make parliament “sit day and night” until all legislation is passed, forcing it to sit all through summer for seven days a week if necessary.

Legally, I don't even think the prime minster can do that (force them to "sit day and night" and "all through summer"). But then again, look at the US to what is currently legal verus what has happened. Even if he does become PM, as long as the party isn't the majority, they can't force parliament to sit as long as they want.
