However, there are plenty of sources, such as the ones mentioned above, indicating that China supports the AfD and that the AfD reciprocates with positions that are very favorable toward China.
What? Do you think China is too incompetent to do so? If they aren't, it's really only incompetence or stupidity. If they're letting everyone else control the media and not doing it themselves, that's on them. So which do you think it is?

Proof of what? I didn't make a claim, except that they'd be stupid not to try, and if they are trying and not influencing things then they're incompetent. That's not a claim about what they're doing. If they let other nations get controlled by nations that are hostile to them, they're stupid.
You made a claim that they aren't doing it. Provide proof of that. Saying "they just mind their own business" is either incredibly dumb or naive though. They obviously don't. They have a huge amount of global soft power. Their control in Africa is impressive, to say the least. They absolutely don't just mind their own business.
I assume you're an apologist for China. If you are, you won't even admit to what they'd proudly claim. They aren't just some weak little nation on their own. They're one of, if not the, strongest nation in the world. I'm assuming you'd agree with this, but also think they're totally useless when it makes them sound nice. I don't know if you believe what you're saying or not, but you don't get to where China has, especially with all the hostility they've faced from the west, without some serious power and willingness to fight. However, you're claiming here they don't have that. Which is it?
