Instead how about getting rid of PreCheck, CLEAR, and Global Entry, which I refuse to apply for or pay for just on principle? They’re panopticon profit centers.
Feels like a way to try to grab more people via ICE as they go through security. I can't imagine any other reason for this. Maybe trying for a false flag attack before the elections?
I guess people that need assistance to get to the plane will benefit. But, I really don't want MORE people at the airport than there already are. Its like the ONE good thing we got from post 9/11 security.
Edit: it's part of TSA pre check. Which sounds similar to ICE showing up at courts for people here legally. Another "you're safe and following the process" followed by "get fucked". Don't fly or go to an airport unless you absolutely have to.

Not a fan. The best (only?) benefit of the post 9-11 security is that travelers don't have to deal with solicitors and their nonsense at the airport.
