The idea that B.C. might somehow "be the 51st state" is not a concept worthy of being dignified by denying it on an official sign at the border.

It's so sad to see Canada engage with Trump's rhetoric this way. They're just feeding in to his hands at this point. You can't "nuh-uh!" a troll. You can ignore them but I get that that feels dangerous. The other option is to slap them down so hard they forget what words are. Trump is already demented so it wouldn't take much.
