As of writing, it's getting review bombed mainly for long queue times and streamers getting preferential treatment.
One review says it worked on Linux/Proton during the beta and the devs even demoed it on the Steam Deck (citation needed), but they introduced a kernel-level anticheat right before launch and now it doesn't work.
Another reviewer is saying the anticheat made his Windows BSOD.
May be worth letting the dust settle on this one.

I find it very strange and risky in general that they had EAC implemented and working during their big open tests, but then suddenly implemented a different & untested anticheat before launch. They disabled Linux on the new anti-cheat, but it's more crazy in my mind that they wouldn't expect a whole lot of new implementation issues to crop up after swapping such a major component.

Always wait for the first patch... Devs shove beta bullshit off on the world and figure they'll fix the problems as they come up.
