That kind of price drop is nice. Seems like anything missing from the original won’t be missed. It does have a very specific use case though. RDP or VNC (or other remote software) is going to do the job better in many cases.
But if you wanted to (for example) get into the BIOS or install an OS, this would be helpful.
I have an original I was using when I’d get VNC crashes I couldn’t diagnose and had to reboot the machine manually.
My JetKVM often dies not detect hdmi when the system was off for an extended period of time. I always have to restart the JetKVM or the machine or both until it works. Did anyone experience this issue?
Hopefully this is resolved with the new hardware.

That's pretty cool. Doesn't look like I can put them in my rack easily though. I'm sure someone will design a mount before long.
