Small USB-C (female) to HDMI (male) Adapter?

On my last trip I stayed at an apartment and one evening I just wanted to watch an episode on the TV mounted near the bed. I was asking how I get may laptop (MacBook Air M4 2025, I had with me because I've worked the last week of the trip) to the TV. I travel #onebag and minimalistic, so I have a 2m long USB-C cable and don't want to carry much more. I thought about getting a USB-C to HDMI Adapter https://www.amazon.com/-/de/dp/B0D45FK6B4 ( sorry for Amazon link. Could not find it anywhere else) to even connect my Pixel 9 to a TV. Does any1 has experience with such a setup? Any downsides?
