Most of the US retail stores follow the pattern of changing over to the next holiday about the next week or two after the last one so they have maximum time to shovel out the cheap plastic crap.

Labor Day isn't much of a retail holiday, so it adds some distance between Independence Day and Halloween. As we approach Labor Day, retailers get set up to switch over to Halloween.

IIRC, Merlin is built from the Asus firmware, so Merlin is very stable and somewhat more featureful and secure than Asus vanilla. I have been happy with it for years, having moved off of openwrt and ddwrt.

Merlin does not aim to accomplish the same as something like openwrt, which is a larger project and lends itself to more involved customization and etc.

When it was just me, I could tinker but we were working from home and now we have kids with internet use also.

Basically, I use Merlin because I want more features but i cannot really tinker with it; the WiFi is our production environment. I considered having an internal lab network but it just wasnt worth the overhead.

It is worth noting that this outcome is almost certainly thanks in part to Madonna and others like her.

She is/was a major feminist icon of the 20th century albeit certainly a controversial one even within feminism.

Aww come on, Ice-T was a rapper from the same group and he was at least passably good in New Jack City (1991). I guess that wouldnt work, as Grandpa would have hated it and it was too old by then to be relevant for this joke.

Likewise with Friday (1995) which contained very little actual acting but was a hit movie co-written by Ice Cube.

You might find it interesting that the Amish belief holds that one should be baptized as an infant.

Anabaptists believe that baptism is valid only when candidates freely confess their faith in Christ and request to be baptized. This stance, commonly referred to as believer's baptism, is opposed to the baptism of infants, who are not able to make a conscious decision to be baptized.
