This is a very Pennsylvania dinner.

Guilty. Watching the eagles game, lol

Perogies for dinner puts you more toward the middle of the state, in my opinion.

Northeast, actually. Very heavy Polish influence here

Swap out that Coke for an A-Treat Birch Beer!

Blue or white?
anon6789@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 1d
I've been familiar with brown, red, and white my whole life, but this summer we went to Jim Thorpe and that was my first time trying blue.
A-Treat brown is my go to, PA Dutch red is probably second.

Indeed.

Maybe I'm a fan fat fuck but that's 3-4 pierogis away from a decent serving. They do look great though.

Looks great! I would only add some kielbasa and grilled onions.

That's way too much work

Pierogi, potato and cheddar
Apeman42@lemmy.world · 11 pts · 2d
Looks like pierogi. Dumpling instead of pasta, usually potato-filled.

I'm normally an UTZ rippled chips guy but I tried those kettle chips a couple of weeks ago. They were ass. I dunno, maybe I got a stale batch or something.
