Actually, I DID read that book.

Musashi had a fascinating passage about how to apply his dual-sword technique. He even describes in detail why using a katana and a wakizashi is important, because if both blades are the same length, you'll end up getting in your own way and losing the fight.

Take that metaphor as you will.

P.S., he was, in fact, a fan of guns. He also mused at length on the appropriate time to employ the appropriate weapons and strategy, and cautioned against the 'all or nothing, pickrightnowPICKITNOW' mentality that STILL seems to trip people up.
