[Help] How to ACTUALLY use default links section in services

I'm fed up with websites that by default give priority to big tech platforms, like when did all of humanity agree that; Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Twitch, Goodreads are the websites that everyone is expected to have an account on?!

And the custom links feature is completely treated as an after-thought!

so if you're setting up your account on whatever service.. like say Github or whatever... you probably noticed this special care for Big tech linking

All i want is for my page to look better, but I don't wanna create an account on any of these shitty surveillance platforms, so let's hit two birds with one stone, shall we!

I need your help! share resources you know.. about Big tech.. I'm especially looking for a dedicated website that document each company abuses, and I'll use these links.. so that:

  1. my landing page looks populated (aesthetic)
  2. Those who visit can learn something

(Now imagine if a lot of people started doing this!) lol xD ... better than the clippy movement IMO

I already got a website for Facebook and I'm looking for others dedicated to IG, TK.. etc..

still, if you have something better, do link it below.. it's preferable if it's a dedicated website, and not some form of wiki or a social media post.

Thanks in advance

For all its flaws, githubs profile linking is freeform and will even put the Mastodon logo + the rel=me tag if you specify a Mastodon address
