How do we convince our family members to live healthier?

you don't.

you live your own life your way and hope they follow by example. but you can't convince other people's to change their ways unless you want to become an abusive controlling person.

Live a happy life, and then when they ask you what the secret to your happiness is, hit em with the "I haven't looked at a Grok summary or a Facebook post in 37 years."

You can't.

You can provide them with information, but people will do whatever they want to.

Ask anyone in the healthcare profession. They'll tell you stories of people who are using oxygen tanks and still smoking; or addicts who have overdosed a dozen times and kept on using; or alcoholics who have had liver transplants and kept on drinking.

We can't convince loved ones to live healthier lives with logic and explanations.

We can be there for them regardless of their choice and hope one day they'll see what you see.
