On Nov. 1, 2026, when clocks would have been turned back an hour, no change will be made. B.C. previously observed Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) and Pacific Standard Time (PST) when clocks were changed in March and November of each year.

It will permanently move daylight into the evening, not into the morning. Standard Time is that time zone which keeps it in the morning.

Hate to break it to you, but we aren't changing time, so we will continue on daylight savings time. This means that during winter it will be dark until later in the morning... The tradeoff is that we are going to have lighter afternoons and evenings, which personally I am looking forward to, but understandable that not everyone feels this way.

Normal time is better than advanced.
