Just had a meltdown and the trigger was my smart speaker would not adjust the brightness on the light it was supposed to but changed a different light. No matter how many times I told it to adjust the brightness of the correct light.

I bought something like fifty microfiber cloths just to spread around the house for this horrible eventuality!

Never let inanimate objects bully you. Unscrew the lightbulb and unplug the smart speaker. Then put them both in a draw. Show them who's boss, and that you're not taking any of their shit.

Finally cleaning out the back back room. Found a thing filled with stuff. Sorry, words. I was looking through it, because the last things I found like that were actually from when the house was built.

This was different though. Not family names. One of husband's friends girlfriends name was on stuff. We try to find him. Find him. She passed unexpectedly it seems :<
Message him if he wants her things. Didn't expect a response. Got a response pretty quickly. He's coming today so I'm nervous. Never met him. House is a mess.
Husband says that's fine, friend helped make the original mess lol.
