Really great episode. I’m glad we’re getting to see some of John Stewart being an architect and moving away from his crazy parents.
I am hoping Hal is not dead and we keep everyone on the table. There is a ton of untapped GL mythology. I do wonder if with this universe we’d ever make it to blackest night. I feel like Hal and Carol may be too old for the roles they play in that story.
John interacting with his parents and brothers wss great. I hope we see more of that in whatever future seasons I hope exist.
I really thought John was going to cut out Hal's heart, see a crystal and he'd be a Manhunter somehow... But I guess that wouldn't have made any sense.
I can only guess next episode Halogram is good to fill us in and that probably leads to Sinestro, but I hope Hal is also secretly alive.
So Halogram can probably open the Hal vault, and I guess that'll give us a fully charged ring? I don't know to what end, but John will say the oath and he'll be a proper Lantern, so check on that box.
But then we gotta go to space and at least find Sinestro. Does Guy lead John into space? Does Halogram know about Sinestro's secret lair?
Also what's the deal with the watch girl? Why are we adding her to the story now?
And who's been taking care of Earl for the last 10 years?
I do hope watch girl is worth it, especially with how limited time8 episodes get us. I completely didn’t think about who was taking care of Earl. It would have made more sense if Earl had been with John this whole time.
I wonder if watch girl is an extension/spy for Noah. If Noah is a secret Manhunter it's possible he has a number of people "working" for him, and a waitress at the cafe would be a good scout. She was also at Hal's house just before Noah showed up, once again scouting.
