I think i saw an Interview where she said that when she was very young a black friend of hers kept telling her to show him her snatch and eventually out of annoyance she picked her dress up and flashed him and he said "oh it's pink" and that's how she decided on the name.

Why do people still call her pink? She looks more like she's an orangish brown Zio Karen in the new Trolls movie.
