I don't know if Ali is right for the part.

Blade is supposed to be a fantastic fighter and Marhershala is already over 50.

Ever since we all talked shit about Heath Ledger being cast as the Joker before the movie came out, I do my best to give casting decisions the benefit of the doubt, at least until we see the movie.

Plenty of action actors over 50 that get the job done. Hell, Hugh Jackman has played Wolverine into his 50s.
