"Bong" is an English word, but it has Thai origins. It's pretty common in other Asian languages like Mandarin, Filipino, Vietnamese. TBH I knew that but I wasn't sure about the actual meaning, so I looked it up...
and of course, it does refer to the kind of bong you smoke out of 🌿 lol
