Three Gigawatts is a colossal amount of capacity to add to the grid, this is great news.

It's also very useful to have a diverse range of energy sources contributing to the grid, with a generous amount of hydro to back everything up.

Taranaki's wind resource is considered world-class

I'd love to see the ranking criteria for this one 😆

It's also interesting that the companies are saying how they hope a change in government won't put investors off investing here.
