I was using 6.5 creedmoor last couple years and found that I wasn't getting the expansion that I needed. So I'm switching to 6.5 Grendel to see how it does. My range is 300 yards or less so I don't need a full power. I need to rest accuracy first but I'm wondering which will provide better results.
coming from 6.5 creedmore. Should be interesting deer season.

I recently bought a 6.5PRC and I can't speak at all to deer. I've shot some 130gr berger VLDs at the range with great accuracy and taken a bear and these things have great expansion, all into the organs, very little meat loss.
