Conservatives have defunded the NHS to the point where even here people are now falling for the private insurance con, it's ridiculous and depressing

My local GP no longer allows appointments over the phone, before it was a race to not just get an engaged tone.
Appointments now have to be done online, where you are very handily by adverts for private GP services. All very much going according to plan

Same thing happening here in Canada. Politicians 'starving the beasts' of healthcare and education and then pointing out how they are failing.
