Especially that method of execution, as it was designed not to be boring. Perfect entertainment for kids.

Great way to introduce kids to gambling and death early in their lives.

Semi-related, but I hate how they disable the comments for kids videos even on normal YouTube. I want to have a discussion about the shows I watched as a kid but can't, because of this bullshit.

You have to swipe to see the comments.

Hikiru@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

Nope. It just says comments are disabled. You can’t view comments on videos “made for kids”

Most kids already survived their 1st execution

AllonzeeLV@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

If we were honest with modern kids about the world we're raising them to survive and subsist in, they'd correctly find a way to do it themselves.

Good thing we set up smaller Band-aids to pull off first like Santa Clause, God, and "professional passion" so we can incrementally acclimate them to tolerate the shit show without jumping off a building... sometimes.

Back to medieval times! Just like Ken Follet wrote: "The boys were early for the hanging."

It's like an old town square hanging. Bring the whole family!
