Any guesses how ridiculous Taylor Swift's weekend numbers get? I'm not much of a movie goer but these posts are fun.

I’m taking a stab at $120 million domestic. I think most people going opening weekend will already have their tickets.

What does weekend x mean? Why is the left and right number sometimes the same and sometimes not? What is "WW"?

It's the movie's 2nd+ weekend in theaters.

What is the left and right number sometimes the same?

Right column shows total, left shows just the latest weekend. It's only the same if it's the film's first weekend.

What is "WW"?

"Worldwide".

This whole thing is far from great information design. Appreciate the effort, though.

I dunno, I think weekend X is pretty clear in the context of movie releases (and really, so is the idea of a cumulative total on the right)
