Filtered as many words and phrases as I can (excluding X) and it's still not stopping the flood of posts.
Does anyone know of a way I can filter this, is it even possible?
If not could the app be updated to include a block 'X' posts without removing all words with the letter X in it?

Had to clear my own filters to see my post, im going backwards lol. Might just have to live with it.
Edit: Another suggestion for the app would be the option to allow my own posts and comments to display despite my filters.

Yeah I tested it myself and I guess we'll have to put in a feature request for a new type of Keyword Filter that only removes whole words instead of anything containing that word.

Yeah I had to unsub from technology for that reason the Musk-derangement is so strong there it just made it unusable.
(Musk derangement in the sense that he does whatever his latest idiocy is then a thousand people pile in with increasingly deranged comments. )

I feel that's going to be my only option; Rather than filtering him out entirely. That said he will continue to pop up in my feed no matter what I do unfortunately.
But I can live with that.

Unless you have to use the platform, there's always an option to leave. I found it very liberating to no longer be a part of any social media (except lurking on Lemmy). Give it a thought 🤔
