Haha, that's awesome! Do the "joycons" work with PinePhone?

It's Backbone One controller. Works out of the box (including pass-through charging and USB audio), but some applications don't detect buttons correctly, so I remapped them using xboxdrv.

I should get one for my PinePhone Pro then, that looks awesome.

Just wanna brag, I designed

...not that it matters considering the repo mirrors don't even have the logo showing up in the readme 💀

What is that keyboard? Does it attach to the phone?

CalcProgrammer1@lemmy.ml · 3 pts · 3y

Looks like the official PinePhone Keyboard Case. I'm typing on the same keyboard now. It's quite comfortable to type on for a tiny pocket keyboard. It doubles as a battery bank for the PinePhone. Turns the PinePhone/Pro into a pocket laptop and it's great.

Yes, it's the official Pine keyboard. But it's only for PinePhone(Pro). It a replaces back cover with a clamshell and uses pogo pins on the back for connection. The keyboard also have additional battery. I think that the keyboard makes it a bit heavy, but the phone discharges too fast without it (RK3399S is very hungry!) and the virtual keyboard on Linux is not as good as on Android. So it's a must have accessory.
