There are bots on Lemmy that duplicate posts from sources like Reddit. They usually post into special locked communities on dedicated instances (such as lemmit.online). Most instances have banned these bots to avoid flooding the local feed with high-volume bot reposts. And this makes perfect sense.
But with the ability to unlist a community, we probably won't need to ban such bots and can instead ask their authors to unlist those automated communities. This way, people who want to occasionally read posts from niche Reddit communities can still access them without hurting proper Lemmy growth.
I had the GameSir X2 back in the day. I really liked the aesthetic, but passthrough charging didn't work with the PinePhone, and it also didn't work at all with my Google Nexus (an old phone). Later, I switched to the Backbone One, and it worked perfectly with all the devices I had. So good drivers are important. But that was quite some time ago - I'm pretty sure many things have improved on the GameSir side. Later I sold both and switched to a dedicated device.
I haven't used bsn! inside the examples yet because its syntax might still be unstable. I'd like to wait a bit.

The most popular distro right now is Rocknix. There're plenty of supported devices and you'll have acess to Portmaster. Even some of the originally Android devices are supported, such as ones from Retroid and AYN. Could be a safe option if you unsure about the OS.

I had Retroid Pocket Flip 2 and the one in Thor is much better. Not sure what the exact word to describe it, but it feels much more smooth.

I found it quite comfortable. I finished New Super Mario Bros DS and played quite a lot of GTA 3. But my hands aren't very big 🙂

Yeah, emulating on the phone is also a good option. Buying a telescopic controller is cheaper than a dedicated handheld.
